Why Real Syllabus exists

School taught you algebra. Nobody taught you how compound interest works against you, what your employment contract actually says, how to navigate a corporate hierarchy, or which skills will still matter when AI automates half your industry.

Real Syllabus exists to fill that gap. Starting with the professional world of Salesforce and technology — because that's where the need is most acute and the official content is most sanitised — and expanding into finance and the real-world operating knowledge that separates people who figure things out from people who stay confused.

The name is the promise. A syllabus implies structure, sequence, and credibility. The word Real means what's here is unfiltered, unsponsored, and actually useful.

The person behind it

Himanshu Gupta is a Senior Technology Executive and Salesforce Architect with 15+ years building enterprise CRM ecosystems across the UK and India. He has led teams of 40+, managed £5M+ budgets, and delivered transformation programmes for global clients across finance, media, and retail — including Capgemini, The Economist Group, and MATCHESFASHION.

He holds the Salesforce Certified Application Architect designation — one of the most senior technical certifications on the platform — alongside Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, and 8 additional Salesforce certifications. He trained at the Salesforce AI Centre and has been implementing AI-driven solutions well before it became an industry talking point.

He is not writing from theory. He has written 500+ Apex classes, led architecture decisions affecting millions of records, and navigated the stakeholder conversations that determine whether a transformation project succeeds or quietly dies. Real Syllabus is what he wishes had existed when he was starting out.
